Financial Analyst / Business Controller (f/m/d)

That is your role:

• BI-Management: You take over the responsibility for our BI systems. From maintenance to further development to excellent data quality, everything is in your hands.
• Strategic Sparring: You support our cross-functional teams proactively through data-based analyses, deliver clear insights, and lead directly actionable recommendations from them.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Together with the finance and leadership team, you create and steer budgets as well as reliable (product) forecasts.
• KPI-Tracking: You develop our KPI frameworks continuously further (e.g. Contribution Margin Tracking, Customer Retention Tracking) and ensure transparent performance measurement.
• Cashflow & Liquidity: You work on rolling cash flow planning and support the securing of our liquidity.
• Controlling & Data Validation: You conduct accounting and BI checks, ensure data validity, and lead from ad-hoc and deviation analyses fundamental insights for a data-driven controlling.

You Bring

• You have a completed degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or a comparable field and bring relevant experience in the area of Financial Analysis, Controlling and BI with you.
• You have very good knowledge of data analysis and reporting (e.g. Excel, PowerBI). First experiences with ERP and e-commerce systems (e.g. Odoo, Shopify) are advantageous.
• You combine a deep understanding of financial models, cash flow, and balance sheet logic with entrepreneurial foresight and make pragmatic, well-founded decisions.
• You think entrepreneurially, work structuredly, and bring initiative with you.
• You have already gained experience in rapidly growing start-up or scale-up environments and feel at home in a dynamic tempo.
• You speak fluent German and English.
