RPO's client is actively seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join their team in Cape Town, Western Cape. This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented and driven professional to lead financial operations within a dynamic environment. Position Overview: Role: Financial Accountant Level: Middle Management Reports to: Managing Director Employment Type: Permanent Location: Cape Town Remuneration: Market-related Responsibilities: Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Manage and maintain the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other financial records. Prepare and present financial reports to the Managing Director and other stakeholders. Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations to improve financial performance. Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Manage and supervise a team of accountants and administrative staff. Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including banks, auditors, and other financial institutions. Ensure the financial operations are efficient, effective, and compliant with relevant laws and regulations.
