Tasks

• Performance of account reconciliations, clarification of accounts and processing of payment transactions Processing of debtor and creditor accounting for various companies, including management of the reminder process
• Participation in projects to improve processes and creation or updating of guidelines
• Verification, recording, setting up and closing off of provisions as well as booking active account offsets
• Preparation of reports and analyses within the scope of the audit
• Activities related to monthly and annual closings
• Interface function to internal departments for clarification of accounting matters

Qualification

• Completed commercial training with a focus on accounting, e.g. as a tax clerk or comparable qualification as a financial/budget accountant
• At least three years of professional experience in financial accounting
• Structured, independent, timely and problem-solving-oriented working style
• Fundamental knowledge of accounting regulations according to HGB and balance sheet preparation according to HGB
• Excellent communication skills, reliability and flexibility
• Safe handling of MS-Office applications, particularly Excel, as well as very good SAP knowledge
• Very good German language skills in writing and speaking, good English language skills
