For the expansion of our Finance team, we are looking for a working student. In this role, you will be an important part of Picus as well as our globally active portfolio companies.

Tasks

// YOUR MISSION AT PICUS

• You create informative reports and support ad-hoc analyses from various data sources to drive decisions together with relevant stakeholders. In the process, you gain deep insights into Private Equity & Venture Capital and build practical skills in Controlling and Treasury.
• You actively work on the further development of our BI-supported reports as well as internal processes, especially through the use of AI. Additionally, you gain valuable practical knowledge, for example, about investment negotiations, purchase agreements and company founding.
• You support with preparing accounting records and travel expenses and gain insight into year-end financial statements and other reporting in the Accounting & Tax area.

• You possess excellent communication skills and openness, and you enjoy working together as a team.
• You work structured, carefully and reliably, and have a high sense of responsibility when dealing with numbers, processes, and sensitive information.
• You think analytically, recognize connections quickly, and enjoy presenting complex topics in an understandable way.
• You feel comfortable in a dynamic environment and maintain overview even when handling multiple topics simultaneously.
• You bring a hands-on mentality, work independently, and take responsibility for your tasks.

Background:

• You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program, preferably in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Economic Sciences, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science or a comparable field.
• You have an interest in financial topics and startups.
• You possess very good MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and speak fluent German and English.
• You study in Munich or the surrounding area and can work from our Munich office.
