Finance Trainee

Optimus Steel is looking for a Finance Trainee who is interested in strengthening their financial knowledge and gaining professional experience in the United States.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Financial Administration, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
• Additional education or training in Corporate Finance, Financial Markets, Investments, or Financial Analysis is preferred.
• Maximum 3 years of experience in Finance-related areas.
• Fluent conversational English – required.
• Willingness to relocate temporarily to the United States (J-1 visa).

Responsibilities:

• Analyze operating costs, consumption, efficiency, and variances within the production process.
• Support the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and Budget vs. Actual analysis.
• Monitor financial and operational KPIs, identifying deviations, trends, and opportunities.
• Analyze the relationship between operations and financial results, including impacts on the P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.
• Support the automation and optimization of financial reports to facilitate decision-making.

You will have the opportunity to develop your professional experience in the United States, working closely with Finance and Operations teams.

We manage your J-1 visa process.

Candidates must be currently located in Mexico.
