Finance Supervisor – Bank Reconciliation

Are you an accountant with experience in bank reconciliations and general accounting? Do you have advanced English and can communicate fluently with international teams? This opportunity is for you! We are looking for a Finance Supervisor to lead the team responsible for bank reconciliations across the EMEAI region . This role involves direct interaction with stakeholders in the UK , so the interview will be entirely in English . What you’ll do: Supervise and review bank reconciliations and account reconciliations for multiple entities across the EMEAI region . Ensure accuracy and timeliness of reconciliations, including investigating and resolving discrepancies. Ensure that all month-end closing activities for bank reconciliations are completed timely and accurately. Review and approve journal entries related to bank activity. Monitor and analyze bank accounts and prepare reports on the financial performance. Maintain and improve the bank reconciliation process. Develop and implement policies and procedures related to bank reconciliations. Manage and train a team of accountants. Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting. Communicate with banks and other financial institutions. Participate in internal and external audits. Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards (e.g., IFRS). What you'll bring: Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field. Professional accounting certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) is preferred. Proven experience in bank reconciliations and general accounting. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. Experience with month-end closing procedures. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel). Fluency in English (written and spoken). Experience working with ERP systems is a plus. Experience in a multinational company is a plus.
