About MGI In April 2024, MGI Tech opened a Customer Experience Center in Brazil to contribute to the advancement of genomics in Latin America. The goal is to provide a facility for clinical and research laboratories, hospitals, and universities to enhance learning and experience with genetic sequencing technology, applied in precision medicine, oncology, Agri genomics (the application of genomics in agriculture), and metagenomics (the study of environmental microbial communities), among other spheres of influence. The center will be a hub for the development of new applications and services based on genomic data, enabling the creation of personalized treatment plans, improving disease diagnosis, and enhancing crop yields through precision agriculture. This cutting-edge facility will also serve as a platform for training and education in genomics, fostering collaboration among researchers, clinicians, and industry professionals.
