Tasks

Your tasks will include:

• Analyzing existing financial, administrative and operational workflows in accounting, controlling and reporting
• Identifying manual, repetitive and paper-based tasks in the finance department
• Developing and implementing simple, practical automations to relieve departments
• Reducing paper, duplicate work, manual data entry and media breaks
• Connecting various systems, data sources and workflows, especially in ERP, finance and reporting environments
• Using modern tools like Microsoft Power Automate, Make, Zapier, Copilot, ChatGPT Enterprise and CRM and ERP systems
• Collaborating on the further development of financial processes in the ERP system, particularly Business Central / Navision
• Improving and standardizing workflows in debtors, creditors, accounts receivable, settlement and monthly closing
• Building digital workflows for recurring financial processes
• Creating and developing evaluations, reports and key figures to better control finance processes
• Serving as an interface between finance, controlling, operational units, IT and external service providers
• Supporting the introduction of new tools, software solutions and digital working methods
• Documented new processes, training and supporting internal users

Qualification

• Completed financial training or business studies or equivalent qualification
• Multiple years of experience in accounting, controlling, finance operations or financial processes
• Very good understanding of debtors, creditors, accounts receivable, settlement, monthly closing and reporting
• Experience in analyzing, improving and documenting business processes
• Safe handling of Excel
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Navision or Business Central
• Experience with reporting tools like JetReport, Power BI or similar solutions is an advantage
• Interest in digitalization, automation and modern tools to improve financial processes
• Able to clearly structure financial requirements and translate them into executable solutions
• Independent, precise and pragmatic working style
• Pleasure in working with departments and solving operational problems
• Hands-on mentality and the claim to actively develop finance processes
