Aufgaben

As (Junior) Finance Operations Specialist (m/w/d) in Düsseldorf, you will be part of our finance team and responsible for the operational daily business of accounting and payment processing within the EGC group. You will work closely with the Finance Operations Manager, internal departments, and external partners to ensure structured, precise, and timely processes.

Qualifikation

  • Rechnungseingang & Kreditorenbuchhaltung: Management of group-wide incoming payments and thorough examination of incoming invoices including cost-center-based booking
  • Approval-Workflows & Nachverfolgung: Ensuring complete approval processes in the invoice-approval tool, as well as consecutive tracking of open approvals and accounting transactions
  • Zahlungsverkehr & Liquidität: Preparation and coordination of payment flows, as well as monitoring of outstanding payments and deadlines in consultation with the Finance Operations Manager
  • Kontenabstimmung & Buchhaltung: Balancing open items, clarifying differences with suppliers, and supporting ongoing account reconciliations across multiple companies
  • Reisekosten & Anlagenbuchhaltung: Examination and booking of travel expense claims, as well as support for asset acquisitions and ongoing accounting
  • Stammdaten & Systemdisziplin: Maintenance and quality assurance of finance master data in the ERP system, ensuring consistent booking and process standards
  • Reporting & Zusammenarbeit: Support for monthly and annual closing activities, as well as providing input for Finance Operations Manager and CFO reports
