Aufgaben

As Finance & Operations Manager, you will take on a central key role in our consulting firm. You are responsible for efficiently managing our internal financial, IT, and operations processes and ensuring that our consultants work optimally. In this role, you will act as an interface between the management, external service providers, and employees, providing transparency, compliance, and scalability of our structures.

Finance & Controlling:

• Budget planning, forecasting, and liquidity control in close coordination with the management
• Cost management and margin analysis
• Collaboration with tax consultants and auditors for annual financial statements and audits
• Development of controlling and reporting structures

Operations & Prozessmanagement:

• Analyze, design, and continuously optimize internal business processes
• BUILDING AND MAINTAINING A STRUCTURED INTERNAL KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT (e.g., methods, project experiences, templates)
• Dokumentation and standardization of workflows (e.g. onboarding, project start, billing)

IT & Tooling:

• Management of external IT service providers, particularly in the area of hardware procurement, maintenance, and lifecycle for consultants
• Responsibility for the IT stack and internal toolset (Collaboration, project management, finance, knowledge)
• Evaluation of new tools and technologies regarding efficiency, security, and scalability
• Surety of a smooth IT operation as an enabling function for the consulting business

Qualifikation

• Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science or equivalent
• Multiple years of relevant work experience
• Experience in managing external service providers, ideally in the IT field
• Excellent understanding of IT systems and digital working environments
• Outstanding analytical thinking and high numerical affinity
• Hands-on mentality with the ability to think strategically and operate tactically
• High self-responsibility, organizational strength, and prioritization skills
• Very good German and good English language skills in writing and speaking
