Finance & Operations Manager (m/f/d)

Your mission

As a Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the operational financial management of our German companies and will work closely with our international Finance team and external tax advisors.

Your responsibilities will include in particular:

• Creation and checking of outgoing invoices and ensuring correct and timely invoicing
• Management of accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Active receivables management, including dunning and follow-up of open customer receivables
• Checking, recording, and preparation of incoming invoices
• Ensuring clean cost center assignment and documentation
• Participation in liquidity planning and cash flow management
• Support with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Close collaboration with our external tax advisor
• Reconciliation of bank accounts, payment flows, and accounts
• Execution of various reconciliations (e.g., inventory levels, goods movements, settlement data from e-commerce platforms)
• Analysis and improvement of existing financial processes, as well as introduction of more efficient workflows
• Participation in the automation and digitalization of our finance processes
• Close collaboration with our teams in Germany and China

The position intentionally goes beyond classic accounting tasks. We are looking for someone who questions processes, creates structures, and understands Finance as a Business Partner. These tasks are based on the current responsibilities of our Finance team, including invoicing, payment management, cash flow control, DATEV processes, reconciliations, and collaboration with tax advisors.

Your profile

• Successfully completed university degree or training in the field of finance, accounting, or comparable
• Several years of professional experience in a finance, accounting, or controlling environment
• Very good knowledge of DATEV and DATEV Unternehmen online
• Experience with accounts receivable and accounts payable management
• Confident use of Excel and modern digital tools
• Experience in a fast-growing, dynamic company (scale-up, start-up, or medium-sized growth company) is an advantage
• Structured, independent, and solution-oriented approach to work
• Strong process understanding and enjoyment of optimizing workflows
• Very good German language skills (native speaker or comparable level)
• Good English language skills for collaboration with international teams
