As the business continues to grow, they're looking for a commercially minded Finance Manager to partner with operational leaders, provide meaningful financial insight and lead a small, high-performing finance team.

The Role
You'll be responsible for leading the day-to-day finance function while acting as a trusted business partner to the wider leadership team. This is a broad role that combines financial reporting, commercial analysis, leadership and process improvement. You'll enjoy getting involved in the detail while also helping drive better business decisions through insightful financial analysis.

Your duties will include:

• Leading the month-end process and delivering accurate, timely management reporting
• Providing meaningful analysis on financial performance, budgets and variances
• Partnering with operational managers to improve profitability and support commercial decision-making
• Preparing budgets, forecasts and financial models
• Monitoring balance sheet reconciliations and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements including GST and FBT
• Managing customer pricing, rebates and margin reporting
• Leading, mentoring and developing a small finance team
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across finance systems and processes
• Working closely with senior leadership to identify opportunities for operational and financial improvements

Your Profile
You'll be a confident Finance Manager who is ready to step into a broad commercial role where you can add value beyond the numbers.

You'll ideally bring:

• Experience leading month-end reporting and management accounting
• Previous experience managing or mentoring a finance team
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate financial data into practical business insights
• Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with ERP systems
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• A proactive approach with a passion for continuous improvement
• Experience working within product-based, distribution, wholesale or operational businesses is advantageous
