Finance Manager

The Company

My client is a true New Zealand success story! Through their efforts they have established themselves as leaders in their field, and as a result, have been acquired by an overseas giant - who have plans to grow the business to even greater heights During this period of change, they are looking for a contract Finance Manager to own the reporting for the New Zealand entity, whilst also partnering across the business.

The Role

As the Finance Manager, you will report directly to a CFO and have a dotted line to the Director of Finance in Sydney. You will be technically sound and come with an operational and commercial mindset to partner across the business.

You will be responsible for the following:

• Ownership of the month end reporting process for NZ
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Weekly sales reporting
• Variance analysis
• Partnering with Business unit GM's on business performance, preparing monthly KPIs
• Budgeting and Forecasting
• Ad-hoc duties and systems enhancements

Your profile:

To be suitable for this role you will be CA/CPA qualified and have worked in businesses with tight deadlines. You should also display the following attributes:

• Excellent MS Excel skills
• Ability to partner with non-finance stakeholders
• Exposure to inventory/stock is highly desired
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
