Our client is a nationally and internationally operating, technical company with around 2,000 employees worldwide, around 350 employees in EMEA and around 100 employees at the German location Hamburg.

We are looking for you as

Accounting Manager (w/m/d) mit Englisch &SAP remote oder vor Ort!

In accordance with your qualifications and professional experience, you can earn up to 90.000 € p.a. fix plus 10 % variabel.

The full-time position is to be filled through personnel placement. Which means: You will have a fixed employment relationship with your new employer from the start, who would like to employ you for many years.

All subsequent designations are directed at all genders for better readability.

Aufgaben

• You will take over the implementation of closing, consolidation, and audit processes for legal entities and branches in the EMEA region.
• You will coordinate the closing work between internal finance, CFO international, and external service providers, to whom ongoing financial accounting is outsourced.
• You will maintain close cooperation with the finance, tax, and treasury teams in EMEA for the guarantee of conforming and uniform financial processes throughout the entire region.
• You are responsible for payroll and salary accounting in close cooperation with the personnel department.
• You monitor account and side account reconciliations and manage provisions and allocations.
• You inform local management on a regular basis about significant deviations in balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statements compared to previous year and budget.
• You bring your experience into play for further process optimization.

Qualifikation

This is what you bring with:

• You have at least six years of professional experience in a comparable position in an international environment.
• You also have experience in independently preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB plus conversion to IFRS (intercompany coordination).
• You possess very good German language skills in writing and speaking, as well as English language skills.
• You bring good SAP knowledge with you.
• Experience in cooperation with external service providers in accounting and/or shared service centers is advantageous but not a requirement.
• You are willing to make occasional international trips (Asia and USA). Additionally, there will be occasional visits from international finance colleagues on site in Hamburg.
• We would rather dispense with the usual personal attributes at this point and would like to get to know you as a person.
