Finance Manager (m/f/d)

We are looking for an experienced and ambitious (Senior) Finance & Accounting Manager (m/f/d) to strengthen our finance team, independently manage preparatory accounting, and act as an important link between the operational finance level and management. With your commercial understanding and hands-on mentality, you will bring order, efficiency, and structure to our rapidly growing agency environment.

Your Responsibilities

• Independent Accounting & Document Management: You will manage the entire document and invoice processing, check incoming and outgoing invoices, and work closely with our tax advisor for monthly and annual financial statements.

• Process & Data Maintenance: You will digitize and optimize our financial processes, conscientiously maintain master data, and ensure complete documentation.

• Operational Controlling & Reporting: You will support the creation of liquidity planning, forecasts, and monthly reporting, and keep an eye on agency key figures (e.g., project profitability, hourly rates).

• Payment Transactions & Dunning: You will monitor cash flow, manage payment transactions, and systematically handle accounts receivable management.

• Sparring Partner for Management: You will be the direct point of contact for the team and management on all operational finance questions and prepare decision-relevant figures.

Your Profile

• Experience & Foundation: You have successfully completed a commercial apprenticeship (e.g., tax assistant, industrial clerk) or a relevant degree and have several years of professional experience in accounting, finance, or controlling (ideally in an agency or service environment).

• Financial Understanding: Fundamentals of accounting, VAT issues, cash flow, and cost accounting are your daily craft.

• Proficient Tool Usage: You master MS Office (especially Excel) effortlessly and have solid experience with common accounting and finance software solutions (e.g., DATEV, Lexoffice, Personio, or comparable tools).

• Work Style: You work with high precision, independently, and in a structured manner, do not lose sight of the big picture even in dynamic phases, and enjoy getting your hands dirty.

• Communication: You are strong in communication in German (English is an advantage) and appreciate independent work in a home office / hybrid setup.

Your First Months

You will quickly familiarize yourself with our financial structures and take over the ongoing accounting processes. In close coordination with management, you will establish new reporting systems and actively contribute to the strategic direction.

Compensation

The salary for this position is EUR 68,000–85,000 per year.
