Your Responsibilities

You will take over our ongoing financial accounting and monthly closing in DATEV. You will work closely with the founders, our finance team, and our tax advisor. With your analytical and precise way of working, you will ensure clean figures on which we can scale the brand further.

• Document management in DATEV Unternehmen online, including checking, accounting, and filing

• Ongoing accounting in DATEV: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger accounts, and fixed asset accounting

• Payment transactions and dunning

• Reconciliation of bank, credit card, marketplace, and payment accounts (Amazon, Shopify, PayPal)

• Monthly closing with accruals, provisions, and inventory valuation

• Support for reporting, annual closing, and VAT (including OSS) to the tax advisor

• Further development and automation of accounting processes and interfaces

What You Bring

• Completed commercial apprenticeship, e.g., as a tax assistant, preferably with further training as a finance or balance sheet accountant, or a comparable degree

• Strong analytical thinking, structured way of working, and a high demand for accuracy and detail

• At least 3 years of experience in financial accounting, ideally in tax consulting or e-commerce

• Proficient in DATEV (Accounting, Unternehmen online)

• Experience with monthly closings, accruals, and inventory valuation

• Very good Excel or Google Sheets skills and interest in process automation

• Reliability and hands-on mentality in a small team

• Very good German (min. C1) and good English, spoken and written
