Tasks

About the Role

In this key position, you will oversee the entire operational accounting and actively support our team towards digital transformation.

Responsibilities

• Sole responsibility for preparing and coordinating monthly and annual financial statements according to HGB and IFRS.
• Comprehensive management of main and subsidiary accounts, including intercompany adjustments and value-added tax issues.
• Competent point of contact for external auditors, tax consultants, and internal stakeholders; support in budget planning and forecasting.
• Pioneering guidance on IT special projects (e.g., ERP implementations or process automation in the finance department).
• Focal point for team guidance, knowledge transfer to adjacent departments, and onboarding new talents.

Qualification

Qualifications

• Degree with a focus on Finance/Accounting or training as an accountant (m/w/d)

Required Skills

• Fundamental practice in accounting for an international corporation; final exam security in HGB and IFRS is assumed.
• Routine handling of SAP and MS Excel.
• Analytical sharpness, a structured work approach, and the motivation to take first leadership steps.
• Fluent German and good English skills for daily communication in the global network.

PREFERRED Skills

• Experience in guiding IT special projects.

Salary Range and Compensation Package

Remote participation: 40% home office possible.
