Tasks

About the Role

In this key position, you will oversee the entire operational accounting and actively support our team towards digital transformation.

Responsibilities

Sole responsibility for preparing and coordinating monthly and annual financial statements according to HGB and IFRS.
Comprehensive management of main and subsidiary accounts, including intercompany adjustments and value-added tax issues.
Competent point of contact for external auditors, tax consultants, and internal stakeholders; support in budget planning and forecasting.
Pioneering guidance on IT special projects (e.g., ERP implementations or process automation in the finance sector).
Focal point for team knowledge transfer to adjacent departments and onboarding new talent.

Qualification

Qualifications

Degree with a focus on Finance/Accounting or training as an accountant (m/w/d)

Required Skills

Fundamental practice in accounting for an international corporate environment; finality in HGB and IFRS is assumed.
Routine handling of SAP and MS Excel.
Analytical sharpness, a structured work approach, and the motivation to take first leadership steps.
Fluent German and good English skills for daily communication within the global network.

PREFERRED Skills

Experience in guiding IT special projects.

Salary Range and Compensation Package

Remote component: 40% home office possible.
