Finance Manager (m/w/d)

Bergmensch is a rapidly growing e-commerce brand in the premium lifestyle and outdoor sector with an annual turnover of around 10 million euros. We combine strong brand leadership with data-driven growth and are looking for a Finance Manager (m/w/d) who will professionally structure, develop, and act as a sparring partner for the management.

Aufgaben

Finance & Controlling

• Preparation and review of monthly BWAs, including derivation of relevant recommendations
• Cash flow management and ongoing liquidity planning
• Preparation of forecasts, budget plans, and profitability analyses
• Analysis of sales, cost, and margin developments
• Setup and optimization of KPI and reporting structures
• Support for the management in financial decision-making

Buchhaltung & Jahresabschluss

• Preliminary accounting
• Communication and coordination with tax consultants and external service providers
• Preliminary preparation of the annual financial statements
• Review and recording of ongoing business transactions
• Control of debtor, creditor, and payment processes
• Monitoring of deadlines, tax payments, and documentation obligations

E-Commerce & Warenwirtschaft

• Inventory valuation and assessment of inventory levels
• Support and implementation of inventories
• Analysis of inventory turnover, stock duration, and goods movements
• Synchronization between ERP, shop, and accounting systems
• Control of payment providers (PayPal, Klarna, Shopify Payments etc.)
• Review of return, voucher, and discount processes

Operative Finance-Aufgaben

• Expense account settlements
• Invoice review and approval processes
• Optimization of internal finance and reporting processes
• Support for automation and digitalization projects
• Preliminary preparation of documents for banks, funding, or financing

Qualifikation

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Controlling, or comparable field
• Multiple years of experience in the finance/controlling sector, ideally in e-commerce
• Excellent understanding of business economic relationships
• Safe handling of Excel/Google Sheets and ideally ERP/accounting systems
• Structured, analytical, and self-responsible working style
• High numerical affinity and entrepreneurial thinking
• Experience with rapidly growing companies is an advantage
