Finance Manager (m/f/d)

From our office in the heart of Cologne, we manage and advise our portfolio of well-known creators and support them in building their careers.

For our further growth, we are looking for a structured and numbers-savvy personality who will independently manage and further develop our financial processes and ensure smooth operations together with us.

Tasks

• Invoicing: You are responsible for the creation, checking, and sending of outgoing invoices, as well as the processing of incoming invoices.

• Accounts Receivable Management: You keep track of open receivables and incoming payments, monitor payment deadlines, and independently handle dunning procedures.

• Financial Administration: You ensure structured and complete recording, checking, and filing of all relevant documents and financial records.

• Accounting: You prepare accounting documents and work closely with our external accounting and tax advisors.

• Payment Processing: You coordinate payment processes and ensure that invoices, credit notes, and statements are processed correctly and on time.

• Controlling & Reporting: You support the creation of financial overviews, analyses, and reports, and ensure transparency of our financial KPIs.

• Process Optimization: You further develop existing finance processes, identify optimization potential, and support the digitalization and automation of our workflows.

• Interface Management: You work closely with our Artist Management, Campaign Management, and Operations teams and are the central point of contact for financial matters.

Qualification

• You have completed commercial training, for example as an office management clerk, industrial clerk, or tax assistant, a business administration degree, or a comparable qualification.

• You have initial relevant professional experience (ideally 2–3 years) in finance, accounting, bookkeeping, or a comparable commercial position.

• You have experience in invoicing, invoice checking, and ideally in accounts receivable management.

• You have a good understanding of commercial and accounting contexts.

• You are proficient in using Excel and digital tools. Experience with accounting software like DATEV is a plus.

• You work in a structured, careful, and self-responsible manner and have a strong understanding of numbers.

• You can keep an overview even with multiple parallel tasks and reliably set priorities.

• You communicate clearly, reliably, and enjoy interacting with various internal and external contacts.

• You have a hands-on mentality and enjoy actively shaping existing processes.

• Ideally, you already have experience in the agency, marketing, or social media environment - but this is not a must.
