Whats the Role?

We're building a world class in-house finance function and we need your help.

You can play a big part in refining what’s working, fixing what’s not, automating what we can, and using finance to help us grow internationally into the UK/I and US.

You'll work closely with our CFO whilst utilising an offshore team as needed to deliver the day-to-day finance workload. You'll play a crucial role in forecasting, modelling, international finance growth, and using finance internally to help inform decisions.

There's a lot of scope to grow with us over the coming years and make a significant contribution to our journey to make every construction site in the world a safer place.

How you can make an Impact

• Optimise our use of existing finances tools and identify areas for improvement as we scale (we use Xero).
• You'll manage and run Payroll (we use Rippling), Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and other Month End Processes
• Financial Reporting: Data entry, data management, hygiene and improvement.
• Forward planning, specifically: Financial Planning and Analysis, Forecasting, Budgeting, Budget v Actual Reporting
• Consolidating our current process and systems into an organised, efficient and well documented in-house finance function
• Support our finance ops with international expansion into US and UK/I markets
• Manage a team of offshore finance resources to deliver day-to-day financial work

The Skills and Experience you'll bring

• Commercial experience in an in-house Finance function
• Broad accounting skillset; Exposure to all accounting processes, including but not limited to accounts payable, receivable, end of month processes and reporting, payroll, FP&A
• Xero & Rippling experience would be highly beneficial
• Finance experience in a SaaS or Software business
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-moving environment with ambiguous problems
• Cross-functional operational experience, with an understanding of other department working styles & dynamics
• Comfort working with distributed cross-functional teams (e.g. Sales, Product, Support).
• Any experience supporting international expansion is highly desirable, particularly UK&I and USA regions
