This role plays a key part in protecting the organisation’s financial wellbeing, managing risk, and partnering with leadership to support sustainable growth. Key Responsibilities Manage the accounting and finance functions including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Develop and implement financial policies and procedures. Oversee the preparation of financial statements and reports. Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes. Conduct variance analysis and provide insights into financial performance. Manage cash flow and working capital. Identify and mitigate financial risks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives. Provide financial guidance and support to decision-makers. Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team. Ensure effective internal controls are in place. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. Professional accounting certification (e.g., CA, CPA). Proven experience in financial management and accounting. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations. Experience in financial reporting and analysis. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience with financial systems and software.
