Job description
Position Overview: The Finance Executive will be responsible for managing the company’s receivables process, ensuring timely collection of payments, maintaining accurate records, and supporting overall cash flow management. This role plays a key part in safeguarding company revenue and maintaining healthy customer relationships through efficient billing and collections. Key Responsibilities: Accounts Receivable Management: Prepare and issue accurate customer invoices in accordance with contract terms and company policies. Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue invoices promptly. Resolve invoice discrepancies and customer inquiries efficiently. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all transactions. Collections: Initiate collection efforts by phone, email, and mail. Negotiate payment plans with customers when necessary. Escalate delinquent accounts to the appropriate channels. Reconcile customer accounts and resolve payment issues. Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze accounts receivable reports. Provide insights into the collection process and identify areas for improvement. Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes. Cash Flow Management: Support the management of the company's cash flow. Assist with forecasting future cash needs. Contribute to the development and implementation of cash management strategies. Customer Relationship Management: Maintain positive relationships with customers through effective communication and professionalism. Address customer concerns and resolve issues in a timely manner. Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to ensure customer satisfaction. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Proven experience in accounts receivable and collections. Strong understanding of accounting principles. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
