With a fast-paced, data-driven environment, we manage multiple brands across global marketplaces. We’re looking for a hands-on Finance Director to lead our financial strategy, drive profitability, and strengthen our financial operations as we scale.

The Finance Director will oversee all financial planning, analysis, and reporting functions for the company. This role requires a dynamic leader who thrives in a high-growth e-commerce environment and can provide strategic insights to guide decision-making. You’ll be responsible for optimising cash flow, managing budgets, improving financial processes, and partnering closely with leadership on key business initiatives.

Key Duties:

• Develop and execute financial strategies to support business growth, profitability, and long-term sustainability.
• Lead annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and variance analysis processes to ensure accuracy and accountability.
• Managing accounting teams and the finance department/ensuring smooth running
• Oversee preparation of P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports; deliver actionable insights to senior management.
• Analyse product-level and channel-level performance across Amazon and other e-commerce platforms to identify growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with marketing, operations, and supply chain teams to align financial goals with business objectives.
• Manage liquidity, optimise inventory investment, and improve cash conversion cycles.
• Ensure accurate and timely accounting, month-end close, and compliance with tax and statutory requirements.
• Implement financial systems and reporting tools to streamline operations in a fast-moving environment.
• Oversee compliance, internal controls, and risk mitigation related to e-commerce and global operations.
• Create a new internal audit function within the finance team
• Manage the entire year-end process including liaising with UK auditors.
• Enhancing the speed and effectiveness of financial-based decision-making.

Required Skills:

• Proven work experience as a Head of Finance, Director of Finance or similar role.
• BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance along with (CIMA, ACA, ACCA)
• MSc/MBA or relevant certification (e.g. CFA/CPA) is a plus
• 7+ years of progressive finance leadership experience; e-commerce or Amazon retail experience highly preferred.
• Proven success managing financial operations in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
• Hands-on experience with ERP/accounting systems and Amazon Seller Central reporting.
• Advanced computer software skills, including Excel and financial reporting software
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Detail-oriented, agile, and comfortable with ambiguity and rapid change.
