Finance Director

Will be responsible for driving a solid financial performance at the hotel, while strengthening relationships with owners. It is expected that the person in this position will deliver superior financial results, ensure operational efficiencies, implement effective financial controls and establish efficient policies and procedures.

Main responsibilities include:

• Manage and lead accounting and financial functions of the hotel.
• Head the development of the annual budget and subsequent forecasts, in coordination with the executive team, for the preparation of the annual business plan.
• Provide accurate and timely financial information, perform analysis and prepare short-term and long-term projections.
• Maintain hotel records and ledgers in compliance with local tax regulations, accounting standards, company policies and the Uniform System of Accounts for the Lodging Industry.
• Collaborate with hotel management, corporate leadership and owners to optimize cash flows.
• Manage effective relationships with banks, lenders and suppliers that ensure efficient hotel operation.
• Implement company policies and develop documented processes adapted to local regulatory and operational framework.
• Maintain an internal control environment that minimizes business risks, fraud and errors in financial reports.
• Act with honesty and justice in all relationships with clients, suppliers and financial partners, strengthening the hotel's reputation and long-term success.
• Takes responsibility for professional development of all finance team members at the hotel, identifying training needs and ensuring necessary resources to address them.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations and norms, as well as secure storage and access to contracts, leases and other financial records.
• Guarantee timely and accurate preparation of statutory reports and fulfillment of tax obligations.
