Finance & Data Systems Manager
Job description
Bring clarity, accuracy, and calm to a fast-moving snack brand.
Our client is scaling quickly across retail, manufacturing partners, and major e-commerce platforms. They need someone who can make sense of all the numbers, keep the financial systems clean, and provide the kind of visibility leadership can trust.
This isn’t just bookkeeping. This is about seeing the whole picture, catching problems early, and making sure the business always has a clear, confident understanding of its financial health.
What You’ll Do
Keep the books clean
Reconcile bank and credit card accounts and maintain a logical, well-organized Chart of Accounts.
Stay on top of AR/AP
Monitor invoices, payments, and exceptions—and flag anything unusual before it becomes an issue.
Own month-end close
Close the books by the 5th business day and clearly highlight any anomalies.
Make cash flow predictable
Prepare a Weekly Cash View and maintain a rolling 4-week cash forecast the team can rely on.
Protect inventory accuracy
Track COGS and inventory across all channels and keep everything synced with QuickBooks Online.
Watch stock levels closely
Monitor overstock and understock risks and help plan for seasonal or high-volume periods.
Connect e-commerce data to financials
Pull reports from Amazon, Walmart, Shopify, and others—and tie them back to margins and costs.
Build simple, powerful dashboards
Use Google Sheets to create clear views of revenue, collections, spend, and cash flow.
Support tax and compliance needs
Prepare clean documentation for CPA/tax teams and maintain organized vendor, W-9, and contract files.
Set the standard for financial hygiene
Keep documentation, naming conventions, file structures, and data integrity sharp and consistent.
