FINANCE & CUSTOMER SERVICE ACCOUNTANT (M/W/D)

Tasks

You are service-oriented, communicative, and have a flair for numbers?
In this position, you will connect customer service with financial expertise.
You will advise our customers on questions about invoices and payments, keep track of open accounts, and contribute to efficient financial processes. Among other things, you will be responsible for:

• Maintenance and management of debtor accounts
• Preparation, review, and follow-up of invoices
• Monitoring incoming payments and clarifying outstanding items
• Conducting debt collection and credit management
• Telephone and written correspondence with customers regarding invoices, payments, and account balances
• Processing customer inquiries and complaints in close cooperation with the specialist departments
• Maintenance and updating of customer master data
• Support for monthly and annual closings
• Preparation of evaluations and reports

Qualification

To this end, you bring the following profile:

• A successful completed vocational training in a commercial field, e.g. as an industrial clerk, clerk for business management, tax consultant or comparable qualification
• First professional experience in debt accounting, credit management or customer service
• Familiarity with MS Office, particularly Excel
• Experience with ERP or accounting systems is advantageous
• A friendly and professional demeanor in customer contact
• A structured, meticulous, and self-responsible working style
• Good communication skills and a strong sense of service orientation
• Good knowledge of German and English in writing and speaking
