Job description
Role Mission: Act as the primary strategic partner (Business Partner) for the Supply Chain operation, ensuring profitability and cost control (freight, warehousing, manufacturing).
Critical Challenges:
- Visibility and Control: Map, standardize, and automate logistics and manufacturing cost reports (Actuals vs. Budget/Forecast) to have a financial control model without "black boxes".
- Execute at least 2 process improvements.
Structure and Main Interfaces
- Reports to: Financial Manager.
- Direct Reports: No direct reports.
- Internal Interfaces: Daily work and negotiation with Logistics, Procurement, and Manufacturing Managers.
Required Knowledge and Skills
- Tools and Software:
- ERP: Experience working in SAP or equivalent ERP
- Data & Analytics: Advanced Excel (financial modeling indispensable) and curiosity for data visualizers like Power BI or Tableau.
- Data and AI: Knowledge in implementations with Data Bricks and processes with AI.
- Technical Knowledge: P&L construction, variance analysis, forecasting (Budgeting/Forecasting), and mastery of Supply Chain KPIs (cost per case, inventory levels, freight as % of sales).
Knowledge and Experience
- Track Record: 4 to 6 years of previous experience in FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) or Business Control roles, ideally within the Consumer Goods (FMCG), Retail, or Manufacturing industry.
- Methodologies: Proven experience with IBP (Integrated Business Planning).
- Academic Background: Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Industrial/Systems/Administration Engineering, or Business Administration. Any of these with experience in Financial Planning or finance training.
