Finance Controller

Role: Finance Controller Experience: 9 Years Location: Pune Shift: 2PM – 11PM IST / 3PM – 12AM IST Role Summary Lead global financial reporting, taxation, compliance, and business finance operations for an IT services organization across multiple geographies. The role requires strong hands-on expertise in taxation, quarterly reviews, cash flow, cost analysis, and leadership of MIS, with close coordination with CPAs, auditors, and global stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Oversee end-to-end accounting processes, including financial statement preparation, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, including finance teams, business leaders, and management. Collaborate with external partners, such as auditors, CPAs, and tax authorities. Provide strategic financial guidance to support business growth and decision-making. Analyze and interpret complex financial data to inform business decisions. Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results. Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs. Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the finance team. Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial performance to stakeholders. Provide expert advice on financial matters to support business operations. Key Skills and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. 9+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or related field. Strong understanding of taxation laws and regulations. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel. Knowledge of financial planning and analysis tools and techniques. Certification in CPA, CMA, or similar is desirable.
