Job description

Responsibilities: Lead and oversee the financial operations of the commodity trading company. Develop and implement financial strategies and plans to support the company's growth and profitability. Manage and optimize the company's financial resources, including cash flow, working capital, and investment decisions. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards. Prepare and analyze financial reports, providing insights and recommendations to senior management. Manage relationships with banks, investors, and other stakeholders. Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the company's financial position and make informed decisions accordingly. Identify and mitigate potential risks and opportunities. Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment and effective communication. Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements. Provide guidance and support to team members as needed. Monitor and control expenses, ensuring that they are in line with the company's budget and financial goals. Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve financial performance and efficiency. Analyze and interpret financial data to inform business decisions. Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, reported, and audited. Manage and optimize the company's financial systems, including accounting software and other tools. Provide training and support to team members on financial matters. Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the company's financial position and make informed decisions accordingly.
