The Role Reporting to the Head of Finance, the Finance Business Partner will play a pivotal role in providing financial support and guidance to the business. This includes financial planning, analysis, reporting, and performance management. The Finance Business Partner will work closely with various departments to drive financial efficiency, improve decision-making, and contribute to the overall financial health of the organization. Key Responsibilities * Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets. Conduct variance analysis and provide insights into financial performance. * Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial data. * Business Partnering: Collaborate with business units to understand their financial needs and provide support. Advise on financial matters and support decision-making. * Performance Management: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and track progress against targets. Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. * Financial Control: Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls. Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and support the audit process. * Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency. * Ad-hoc tasks: Any other tasks as may be assigned by the Head of Finance. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. * Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) is required. * Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial accounting and analysis. * Experience in the logistics or supply chain industry is an added advantage. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Proficiency in financial modeling and reporting tools. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
