Finance Associate (m/w/d)

We are looking for an experienced person as Finance Associate (m/w/d), who takes over the End-to-End responsibility for our financial accounting and develops our processes structured further. In close cooperation with our Head of Finance, you ensure that our accounting is efficient, correct, and scalable.

In the next step, we are building our financial accounting completely in-house. For this, we are looking for an experienced person as Finance Associate (m/w/d), who takes over the End-to-End responsibility for our financial accounting and develops our processes structured further. In close cooperation with our Head of Finance, you ensure that our accounting is efficient, correct, and scalable.

Aufgaben

• Total responsibility for ongoing financial accounting (main book, debtors, creditors)
• Self-creation of monthly, quarterly, and annual statements (HGB)
• Building and further development of a fully in-house organized accounting structure including payroll accounting
• Responsibility for account reconciliations, provisions, and allocations
• Ensuring the proper recording of all business transactions in DATEV
• Management of open items and debt collection (both internally and in cooperation with our external debt collector)
• Preliminary preparation and coordination of tax-related topics (in cooperation with external partners as needed)
• Preparation of reports and assistance in audits by the financial authorities
• Intrinsic motivated identification and self-implementation of automation and optimization potential – if necessary, in close cooperation with our Business Automation Team.

Qualifikation

• Fundamental background in accounting (e.g. training/ further education in tax or financial accounting) and motivation to lift finance operationally and structurally to the next level
• Experience in self-creating statements
• Very good DATEV knowledge and secure balance sheet knowledge according to HGB
• Very good Excel knowledge (e.g. pivot tables, complex formulas, data analysis) for efficient evaluation and preparation of financial data
• Experience with setting up or restructuring accounting processes is advantageous
• High self-responsibility, structured working style, and high-quality awareness
• Proactive, solution-oriented personality with hands-on mentality
• Fluent German and good English skills
