Finance Administrator

Hospitality and Outdoor – New Vacancy – Finance Administrator Luxury Lodge Group – Cape Town – Western Cape We are seeking a reliable and detail-driven Finance Administrator to support the financial and administrative operations of a hospitality property based in Cape Town, Western Cape. This role is essential in ensuring accurate financial processing, maintaining operational efficiency, and providing hands-on support to both finance and management teams. The successful candidate will be highly organized, have excellent communication skills, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities include: • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries. • Processing and reconciling transactions, including bank statements, credit card statements, and petty cash. • Providing administrative support to the finance team, including preparing reports, spreadsheets, and presentations. • Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes. • Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive financial information with discretion. • Collaborating with management teams to ensure effective financial decision-making. • Identifying and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs. The ideal candidate will have: • A relevant degree in finance or accounting (or equivalent experience). • 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
