Key Responsibilities
Finance:
- Coordinate and reconcile complex end-of-month invoicing processes
- Set up new customers and projects with accurate financial data entry
- Process accounts payable and facilitate timely payments
- Conduct bank reconciliations and assist with payroll functions when needed
- Support month-end and year-end financial reporting
Administration:
- Manage daily office operations, supplies, and equipment maintenance
- Coordinate meetings, travel, and staff communications
- Prepare and distribute meeting minutes
- Maintain company records, staff bios, and website content
- Support onboarding, HR documentation, and general administrative duties
About You
- Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in finance and administrative roles
- Experience in project management environments or working in engineering/manufacturing type business will be highly regarded.
- Proficiency in Xero and strong general accounting knowledge
- High attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to multitask
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Certificate or Diploma in Business Administration, Accounting, or related discipline (preferred)
- Familiarity with HR or payroll processes will be highly regarded
