Finance & Accounting Specialist, LATAM

About the position The Finance & Accounting Specialist, LATAM role is responsible for providing financial support to our LATAM region, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with local accounting standards. Key responsibilities include: • Financial planning and budgeting for LATAM operations; • Preparation of monthly financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements; • Analysis of financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement; • Maintenance of general ledger accounts and preparation of journal entries; • Coordination with external auditors for annual audits; • Development and implementation of internal controls to ensure compliance with accounting standards. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting; • 3+ years of experience in finance and accounting, preferably in the renewable energy industry; • Strong knowledge of financial principles and accounting standards; • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; • Ability to work independently and as part of a team; • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
