Field Technician - Exploration

Job Description Our Macraes exploration team are on the hunt for an Exploration Field Technician. This position works to oversee core sampling in the Macraes Core Shed and provide field support to the Exploration Department at the Macraes Operation. Working a 8 days on, 6 days off, daytime only roster, this is a true opportunity to join New Zealand's largest gold mine to start or further develop your career. Key Tasks and Responsibilities Maintain the Macraes core shed storage facilities, store and manage core samples, ensure all equipment is in good working order, provide technical support to the Exploration Department, maintain accurate records of all activities, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives. Requirements Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, physical fitness and ability to lift 25kg, willingness to learn and adapt to new situations, and a strong attention to detail.
