Job description
ASMPT is a leading global supplier of hardware and software solutions for the manufacture of semiconductors and electronics. ASMPT is looking for a Field Service Engineer for Monterrey, Mexico. Summary: This position is an entry to mid-level position responsible for complete field installation, startup, inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of company supplied equipment of several products. Depending upon the terms of the contract or project, this may include planning, scheduling, coordination with customers, suppliers, and internal departments. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in electronics and/or mechanical engineering, with experience in installation, testing, and maintenance of industrial equipment. In addition to the technical skills, the successful candidate should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have a strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail. The position will require frequent travel to customer sites, both domestically and internationally, and occasional overtime.
