Field Service Technician – Filling & Capping Equipment (Mexico) Location: Mexico (Field-Based / Hybrid – Mexico City Metro preferred) Employment Type: Full-Time Seniority Level: Mid–Senior Salary: $36,577-45,722 (Monthly in Mexican Pesos) Must possess or be able to obtain a legal visa under the USMCA to seek temporary entry into the United States Job Summary The Service Technician performs the assembly, installation, and commission of filling and capping equipment. Troubleshoots and repairs equipment at customer sites. Provides training to customer personnel on equipment operation and maintenance. Essential Functions * Perform on-site installation, commissioning, and servicing of filling and capping equipment. * Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, diagnose problems, and implement effective solutions. * Conduct routine maintenance and preventative maintenance on equipment. * Provide technical support and training to customers on equipment operation and maintenance procedures. * Prepare and submit accurate and timely service reports, including details of work performed, parts used, and expenses. * Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by providing excellent service and communication. * Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while performing service activities. * Manage inventory of spare parts and tools, and ensure they are readily available for service calls. * Collaborate with the service team and other departments to ensure efficient service delivery. * Stay updated on the latest equipment models, technologies, and service procedures through training and self-study. Qualifications * Technical degree or equivalent experience in mechanical, electrical, or related field. * Minimum of 3 years of experience in the service and maintenance of filling and capping equipment or related machinery. * Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, with the ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints. * Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose equipment malfunctions and implement effective solutions. * Proficiency in the use of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and colleagues. * Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks. * Willingness to travel extensively to customer sites, both domestically and internationally. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. * Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. * Must possess or be able to obtain a legal visa under the USMCA to seek temporary entry into the United States.
