We are looking for a **Field Service Technician** for our **HighTech** **local Service Team of** **Agrate B.za (Monza).**
The role does not include transfers except for training or projects, from 10 to 25% in a year. Availability to work shifts is required.
**General Profile:**
The ideal candidate has technical experience in the maintenance and troubleshooting of complex equipment in high-tech sectors. The ability to install and start up is a plus, while experience in the semiconductor industry, vacuum systems or mechatronics is welcome.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Applies all safety measures at all times
+ Works independently using established company procedures and practices.
+ Performs the installation and start-up of Applied industrial plants at the Customer, the largest Microchip manufacturer in Agrate Brianza.
+ Performs all levels of preventive and corrective maintenance within the expected times and procedures.
+ Applies diagnostic and troubleshooting strategies and procedures on Applied equipment installed at the customer's site, through the analysis of data produced by the machinery, understanding the production process and the Software.
+ Performs upgrades and retrofits on the equipment.
+ Ensures that the correct procedures and checklists are applied for both corrective and preventive maintenance
+ Understands and correctly uses technical, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic diagrams.
+ Understands and implements correct working methodologies and procedures according to the quality standards of the company and the customer.
+ Anticipates and responds to equipment problems and escalations in a timely manner
+ Collaborates and communicates with company stakeholders
+ Participates in internal meetings and with customers for the management of the maintenance service.
+ Accountable for the performance of the assigned plants, in the definition and achievement of the objectives.
+ Keeps field management informed about the perception of system performance by customers.
+ Takes the initiative to avoid and solve customer problems.
+ May occasionally initiate projects to reduce costs or increase uptime.
+ May work shifts depending on the assignment.
