Field Service Quality Manager (m/f/d)
Job description
At GALVANY, our goal is to make climate-neutral living a reality for everyone. We focus on implementation and develop concrete, smart solutions by making heat pumps, battery storage, and smart metering easily accessible, reliable, and affordable.
We are a profitable greentech startup and believe that sustainable impact and long-term growth are only possible on the basis of a healthy business model. Driven by customer benefit, clarity, and responsibility, we stand for high-quality heating solutions and a work environment where people take responsibility and create sustainable added value.
As a Field Service Quality Manager (m/f/d) at GALVANY, you are the central quality authority in technical service. You ensure that service calls are smoothly planned, technically competently assessed, and flawlessly documented – and actively drive the continuous improvement of our service processes.
Your tasks:
Ticket management & standardization
Technical validation: Review, technical assessment, and qualification of incoming service tickets through targeted follow-up questions with stakeholders.
Standardization & frameworks: Further development of existing service processes and ensuring compliance with templates, checklists, and handover standards.
Knowledge building & coaching: Introduction of relevant interfaces into new standards and ensuring consistent implementation through regular sparring.
Tour & resource planning: Data-driven optimization of tour planning and ensuring material availability and spare parts requirements for smooth operations.
Quality assurance & documentation control
Technical acceptance: Checking service execution and technician documentation for completeness, plausibility, and quality – as the basis for legally compliant invoicing.
Continuous optimization: Identification of recurring error patterns and derivation of sustainable improvement measures.
Interfaces & communication
Central point of contact for technical and procedural inquiries in service.
Close cooperation with service technicians, customer service, planning, finance, and external partners.
Your profile:
Completed technical training or degree in sanitary, heating and air conditioning (SHK), refrigeration/air conditioning, electrical engineering, or equivalent.
Proficient use of digital tools for ticket and order management (e.g., Zoho, Intercom, Airtable) or the willingness to quickly learn.
A good understanding of economic contexts, especially when assessing re-invoicing.
Sound SHK expertise.
Additionally, the following skills and qualities are important to us:
Structured Thinker: Methodical, careful work with clear priorities, even with a high volume of tickets.
Proactive Problem-Solver: Error patterns are identified early and sustainable solutions are initiated before problems escalate.
Clear Communicator: Technical issues are communicated precisely – equally to technicians, stakeholders, and external partners.
Ownership: Full responsibility for ticket quality, process compliance, and documentation standards – independently and solution-oriented.
Customer Focused: The focus is always on the overall result: smooth operations and high service quality for the customer.
Methodical: Structured, precise work – from ticket assessment to the basis for invoicing.
