Field Service & Integration Engineer | International Projects

Location: Bucharest | Availability for extensive international travel

For one of our clients, we are recruiting a Field & Integration Engineer who will contribute to the integration, testing, implementation, and support of complex systems used in international projects.

This is not a classic office role. A significant part of the activity involves international travel, participation in installations, tests, demonstrations, and commissioning at client sites worldwide, with the remaining activities taking place at the Bucharest office.

Main Responsibilities:

· Integration of hardware and software systems and subsystems

· Installation, configuration, and verification of associated equipment and applications

· Execution of system testing, verification, and validation activities

· Participation in acceptance tests, demonstrations, and technical evaluations

· Commissioning and support of systems at client locations

· Identification, investigation, and resolution of hardware, software, and system-level technical issues

· Performing root-cause analyses and implementing corrective solutions

· Close collaboration with Software, Hardware, System Engineering, Production, and Project Management teams

· Development of technical documentation, integration, and testing reports

· Training and support of end-users and client representatives when necessary

Requirements:

· Completed technical studies in fields such as Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, Automation, Mechanical Engineering, or similar fields

· Experience in a systems integration, testing, commissioning, field service, technical support, or engineering role

· Solid knowledge of troubleshooting and technical problem analysis

· Ability to understand technical documentation, diagrams, specifications, and testing procedures

· Experience working with complex systems combining hardware, software, and communication components

· Good level of English language proficiency

· Category B driving license

· Availability for frequent international travel

Advantageous:

· Experience in fields such as defence, aerospace, industrial automation, automotive, telecom, or other complex technological industries

· Experience in FAT, SAT, commissioning, or customer acceptance testing

· Experience in installing and configuring complex systems

· Experience with measurement and testing equipment

· Experience in international projects

· Military background with a technical or operational profile

· Knowledge of an additional foreign language
