Field Service Engineer

We are looking for a FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER employee for our constantly developing team! We are looking for candidates from Cluj-Napoca, Alba Iulia, Sibiu, Targu Mures.

Your tasks will be:

• Travel to install, services, troubleshoot and repair TRUMPF CNC (bending & punching machines) at customer sites throughout Romania.
• Provide high-quality technical service to customers to ensure optimal sheet metal machine performance.
• Document customer machine information and technical conditions and make improvement suggestions.
• Train customers to operate and/or service machines to ensure maximum productivity.
• Act as a TRUMPF Service ambassador and work directly with customers during installations and repairs to enable their business success.
• Technical product support
• Participation in vocational training necessary for work in Germany
• Provides support to the sales department

What we ask:

• College / University technical degree (mechanical, electromechanical, mechatronic, electrical engineering)
• Communication level English, German language skills is a plus.
• Category “B” license
• User level computer skills
• Good problem-solving skills
• Willingness to travel in Romania for service missions
• Flexibility, mobility
• Troubleshooting skill
• Ability to work with minimal supervision both independently and in a team
• A hands-on problem solver experienced in electronics, digital circuits, wiring, mechanics, pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Focused on customer service and quality.

Advantages in selection:

• Knowledge of industrial communication networks (Profibus, Profinet, AS-i)

• nice to have 3-5 years of work experience in a similar field or as a field service engineer or commissioning engineer.
