Field Service Engineer, Surgical Robotics

We have a brand new and unique opportunity for an experienced Technical Service Specialist to join Medtronic! This is an amazing opportunity for someone who likes to be challenged and has a positive and optimistic attitude. This is a field-based role that will be supporting the surgical robotics platform within an assigned geographic territory. You will be responsible for the following: * Installation, service, repair, and maintenance of surgical robotic systems. * Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, both remotely and on-site. * Providing technical support and training to clinical staff. * Maintaining accurate records of service activities and customer interactions. * Managing and maintaining an inventory of spare parts and tools. * Collaborating with other team members to ensure customer satisfaction. * Participating in continuous improvement initiatives. * Working with a team of other field service engineers to provide excellent customer service. Must Have: * Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent experience. * At least 2 years of experience in a field service role, preferably in the medical device industry. * Strong technical skills, including the ability to troubleshoot and repair complex electro-mechanical systems. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Ability to travel extensively within the assigned geographic territory. Nice to Have: * Experience with surgical robotics systems. * Experience with computer networking and software. * Experience with medical device regulations. * Experience with customer service. * Experience with training and education.
