FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER - CNC MACHINES

FPT Industrie SPA, a leading company in the design and construction of numerically controlled machines (www.fptindustrie.com) is looking for to expand its staff

FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER - MECHANICAL and/or ELECTRONIC

who will perform technical assistance activities on machines installed at its Customers.

Specifically, they will carry out:

• Routine, extraordinary, and preventive maintenance interventions;
• Fault diagnosis and restoration of machine functionality;
• Mechanical assistance (e.g., axis overhaul, spindle lines, machine geometry):
• Electrical and electronic assistance (e.g., alarm diagnosis, motor and drive verification);
• Restoration of machine precision;
• Supply and replacement of spare parts;

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience as a service technician at end-user CNC machine tool companies;
• Knowledge of at least one numerical control system, preferably Siemens or Heidenhain for electronic technicians;
• Availability for weekly business trips throughout Italy and Europe, with occasional longer overseas trips;
• Good knowledge of Microsoft packages;
• At least basic knowledge of the English language.

Proactivity, precision, and reliability in interventions, as well as communication skills to interact both internally and externally, complete the profile.

We also consider candidates NOT residing in the area if they already have experience in the role, as the technician is provided with a company vehicle from which, once autonomous, they can reach customers starting from their own home.

We offer a permanent contract.

National Collective Labour Agreement for the Metalworking Industry (CO11)

Annual gross salary between 35,000 and 50,000 Euros + daily travel allowance and bonuses.

Based on the elements that emerge during the selection process, based on objective and gender-neutral criteria, the specific remuneration to be offered to candidates will be determined.
