Field Service Engineer

As a Field Service Engineer, you will join a dynamic team and have the opportunity to apply your electromechanical skills to challenging projects in Belgium.

• You will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and technical support of automatic warehouses and conveyor installations. You will do this for customers throughout Belgium (focus is in Flanders).
• You will work closely with your colleagues in pairs to solve complex issues, and you will contribute to both preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Analyzing malfunctions and implementing effective solutions to minimize production downtime.
• Carrying out small retrofit projects in the electromechanical field.
• Maintaining documentation of work performed, such as maintenance reports.
• Supporting the back office for the creation of offers.

For this role, we are looking for driven and flexible candidates with a passion for technology. Here are the main requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Electromechanics or a TSO diploma, although experience weighs more than a diploma.
• Very good knowledge of Dutch and English.
• A B driving license, as you will be on the road frequently!
• Knowledge of electromechanics, primarily in heavier mechanics.
• Creativity and problem-solving skills.
• Communication skills and an assertive attitude: you dare to make independent decisions.
• Physical readiness: you sometimes work at heights and in cold environments.
• Team spirit and a flexible mindset: you are a real go-getter.

They are active in both new projects (greenfield) and retrofit projects, and also offer service and maintenance. For the service and maintenance department, they are currently looking for reinforcement to join the 17-person team.
