Tasks

• You will develop the working and manufacturing processes for the coating of locomotives and passenger coaches together with the Industrial Engineering team.
• You will design efficient process flows in the coating center based on engineering documentation and prepare them as clear, visualized work instructions.
• You will continuously improve workplaces and manufacturing processes using your LEAN understanding and contribute to cost reduction and increased productivity.
• You are responsible for programming and adjusting robots in sandblasting cabins and paint shops.
• You will actively participate in introducing new technologies and automation solutions in interdisciplinary teams.

Qualification

• A completed technical bachelor's degree with first-hand experience in surface treatment and industrial engineering or a completed apprenticeship as a painter with further training as a paint technician/master painter and corresponding work experience.
• Ideal experience in programming industrial robots.
• Fundamental, practice-proven LEAN knowledge.
• Safe handling of MS Office, ideally knowledge of SAP and 3D planning tools.
• Fluent German and good English skills.
• A structured, self-reliant, and practice-oriented working style.
