Tasks

  • Leadership of cross-plant or cross-company projects, including the creation of tender documents, profitability calculations, and awarding in the field of welding technology and robotics
  • Development of programs and programming routines for existing and future robot systems
  • Training and onboarding of employees on robot systems and their programming
  • Participation in investment planning as part of the Mid-Term Management Plan
    Checking models and drawings for automated weldability
  • Concept and procurement of operating resources (e.g., robots and other automated systems)
  • Support for design regarding automation-compatible product design as well as analysis of design problems in production
  • Contact person for production (Welding) for manufacturing technology problems
  • Conduct training for project launches in manufacturing
  • Problem-solving processes and determination of measures with the respective departments and promotion and tracking of implementation
  • Development of Value Stream Maps for optimizing information and material flows
  • Development and initiation of measures for productivity increases and quality optimization, e.g., optimization of robotics
  • Feasibility studies and calculations, capacity and utilization calculations
  • Monitoring and creation of key performance indicators
  • Planning and execution of workshops for efficiency improvement
  • Evaluation and implementation of improvement suggestions

Qualification

  • 4-year university degree (Engineering or Industrial Engineering)
  • Several years of professional experience in a comparable position
  • Advanced knowledge in programming industrial robots, ideally in various programming languages (Cloos, Yaskawa, etc.)
  • Required knowledge: SAP, MS Office, CAD, Lean Methods
  • Further training as a welding engineer is an advantage
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken
  • Solution-oriented approach and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to travel
