Fashion Menswear Designer (m/f/d)

For our brand RETERNITY, we are filling a creative position in the field of menswear with a lot of creative freedom and real influence on the future development of the brand.

As a Fashion Menswear Designer (m/f/d), you will design the menswear collections for RETERNITY together with our Creative Team. You will develop ideas for the collections and translate them into an independent, consistent, and internationally relevant product language.

In doing so, you will combine a strong sense for aesthetics, trends, and cultural developments with a confident understanding of product, market, and target group. From the collection idea to colors, materials, silhouettes, and key looks, to the final collection, you will keep the big picture in mind.

You will be given a lot of creative freedom. We are not looking for someone who merely implements existing concepts, but for a creative personality who brings a clear attitude, sets impulses, and develops RETERNITY with us to the next level.

The position is advertised as remote. Our office is located in Hamburg, and our Creative Team is based in Paris.

Responsibilities

• Design and development of RETERNITY's menswear collections
• Further development of a clear, independent, and internationally relevant design language
• Conception and development of seasonal collections as well as contribution to the further development of the product portfolio, new product categories, and key pieces
• Trend, color, and material research as well as development of color palettes, silhouettes, key looks, and design concepts
• Close coordination with our Creative Team in Paris as well as with graphic designers and other creative partners
• Close collaboration with product management, purchasing, marketing, and sales – from the initial idea to the final collection
• Ensuring a consistent connection between product, brand identity, imagery, and visual communication
• Contribution to campaigns, content, and brand projects as well as participation in international trade fairs, research, and production trips

Qualifications

• Several years of relevant experience in fashion design, ideally in menswear, collection development, or a comparable creative position
• A strong sense for high-quality, modern, and contemporary aesthetics as well as a clear personal signature
• In-depth experience in collection development as well as a very good understanding of colors, materials, proportions, and silhouettes
• A confident sense for international trends, cultural developments, and their long-term relevance
• Understanding of the interplay between creativity, brand identity, and commercial success
• Experience with visual brand staging, campaigns, or content
• High degree of independence, combined with conceptual strength and a distinct hands-on mentality
• Very good communication and presentation skills as well as very good English skills
