Job duties:

Coordinate, assign and supervise the work of specialized livestock workers, farm machinery operators, livestock labourers, maple syrup and harvesting labourers

Moving products in winter months and help prepare for shipment

Supervise and oversee breeding and other livestock-related programs

Ensuring that the farm is clean and help ensure that equipment is well taken care of

Supervise, monitor and enforce procedures to maintain animal and crop health and welfare

Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations such as grains

Tapping tree in all weather conditions

Supervise maintenance of infrastructure, equipment, and supplies

Ensure farm safety and procedures are followed

May perform general farm duties

Other duties that apply

Requirements

Job Requirements:

Punctual

Attention to detail

Drivers licence is an asset

Works well with others as well as independently

Able to lift 75 lbs.

Ability to drive farm machinery is an asset

Mechanically included is an asset

Not afraid of small animals

Able to work in all weather conditions

Willing to work evenings and weekends if and when required
