Farm Pipe Fitter

Apt Resources is seeking a skilled Farm Pipe Fitter to join our client's agricultural operations in Abu Dhabi, UAE. As a Farm Pipe Fitter, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of irrigation and plumbing systems used throughout the farm. Your expertise will ensure that all piping systems are functioning efficiently to support crop growth and farm productivity. Responsibilities Install and repair piping systems related to irrigation and drainage Inspect and assess existing systems to identify issues or areas for improvement Install new pipes, valves, pumps, and other components as needed Cut, thread, and bend pipes according to specifications Connect pipes using various methods, including welding, soldering, and mechanical fittings Perform regular maintenance and preventative care on pipes and systems to ensure long-term functionality Troubleshoot and repair leaks, clogs, and other system failures Collaborate with other farm staff to ensure proper system operation and coordination Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines related to pipefitting and farm operations Maintain accurate records of all work performed and materials used Requirements Proven experience as a pipe fitter, with a focus on irrigation or agricultural systems Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics Strong knowledge of different types of pipes, fittings, and installation methods Proficiency in welding, soldering, and other joining techniques Ability to use hand and power tools effectively Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Good physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions and environments Ability to work independently and as part of a team Valid driver's license is a plus Benefits Competitive salary package Accommodation Transportation Medical insurance Paid annual leave Other benefits as per UAE labor law
